Waterfront Cabin For Rent Kootenay Lake - 'Perfect for Honeymoons or Couple's Retreat'
Perched on a cliff overlooking Kootenay Lake this ideal retreat is perfect for 1 or 2 couples or small family. Enjoy spectacular views of the north & south of the lake and Selkirk mountains. Open planned lofted, log cabin was built in 1999. Two storey windows ensure a lake view from almost every room. Watch the bald eagles, loons, fish, and shimmering moonlight.
Two Bears Cabin is located at Gray Creek on the east side of Kootenay Lake (15 minutes south of the Kootenay Bay Ferry Landing). Communities of Boswell and Crawford Bay are nearby.
Spacious loft with 2 Queen log beds and private deck. Privacy screen are between beds. Additional futon converts into a double bed also in loft. Log furniture completes the rustic look. Main floor private bedroom includes a double bed and touch of the historic Kootenays. Comforters, pillows, and linens provided.

Bathroom with clawfoot bath tub/shower to soak in after a game of golf or exploring the West Kootenays.
Living room provides access to Jotal wood stove, tv/dvd and amazing panoramic view. No cable or phone but within cell phone range.
Kitchen has stove/oven, fridge, separate freezer, microwave, toaster, coffee maker. Cookware, dishes, glasses, cutlery, and utensils provided.
Please bring your own towels, beach towels etc. Clothesline only.
Electric baseboard heat and ceiling fan to circulate the air. Screen windows through the cabin. Amazing indoor and outdoor lighting.
Enjoy sun tanning & sunsets on the spacious deck with BBQ. Very private! Cabin is located on a private road (no traffic) with other log cabins. Shared areas include: lake front access, sauna, picnic shelter, playground, garbage containers. Boat launch minutes away. Quiet rules apply - no noise after 11PM. No camping.
Local activities include: golf, boating, fishing, restaurants, local pubs, grocery stores, boat rentals/tours, fresh veggie market, massage/spa, artisan shops (glass blower, blacksmith, broom maker, etc). Kokanee Springs and Riondel Golf Courses just a short drive away! Many adventures on hiking trails and beaches to discover. Take a free ferry ride and visit Nelson and the Ainsworth Hot Springs!
Due to the cliff location the cabin is not suitable for young children. Water is deep at edge. Strict NO SMOKING policy!
Deposit required via post-dated cheque – this confirms reservation
Cleaning fee if cabin is not left clean
No smoking on property
All garbage and food must be removed
2 boat launches close by
Cancellations of less than two week result in forfeit of deposit
Driving directions: from Creston BC - follow HWY 3A ( sign for Ferry to Balfour) north along the Kootenay Lake to Gray Creek. Cabin is at the south end of Gray Creek. Additional directions supplied with deposit.
