Great family spot that is remote enough to feel secluded yet accessible enough to be convenient. Horsefly Lake is a large lake in the Cariboo Region. The cottage is located on a private country acreage in a mature birch / mixed wood forest called Greenley Acres Retreat. The homesite is pleasant with many open areas and a western exposure for soaking up the rays and watching the sunsets on the 50' private dock. Get away from the rat race - no cell coverage and no high speed internet. You come to unwind and relax. The cabin is surrounded by abundant wildlife, great fishing lakes, fly fishing rivers, trails and fresh air. Features of cabin include evening fires by firepit lakeside, mountain biking, good swimming, badminton area, good hunting/fishing and listening to the loons call out. All the fun of camping while enjoying the comforts of home! Well behaved animals are always welcome. A row boat is available for your exclusive use on the lake. A 14 ft Lund with 25 hp motor are available for an additional charge. We rent the cottage weekly from Sat. to Sat. Renting since the summer of 2002.
