Nestled in the Boston Bar region of British Columbia as you travel Highway 1 through the Fraser Canyon are the Rivers Edge Cabins.
Rustic cabins situated in a perfect setting on the Nahatlatch River with ample recreation available throughout the season. Hiking, fishing, and river rafting in the spring, summer and fall, there is always plenty to do at Rivers Edge Cabins… or just sitting on the porch enjoying the majesty of natures own version of quiet.
From April to the end of October we offer 6 cabins that are available by the day, week, or month. Each of our picturesque cabins has private river frontage and treed lots. Imagine yourself falling asleep to the sound of the river; no traffic, no trains, no phone ringing and no stress.
The cabins are 1 km from the Nahatlatch Provincial Park which features an 11 km long lake system for fishing, canoeing, swimming (In August), and power boating. Upstream of the lakes the Nahatlatch becomes a mild meandering river with excellent wildlife viewing opportunities including: Black Bear, Grizzly, Great Blue Heron, Coyote, Cougar, Beaver, Bald Eagle, and more.

This cabin has a living area of 16 x 20 feet with two double futons. The bedroom is 8 x 12 and comes with a double bed. You can drive right up to the cabin and enjoy the river view and sounds, located a mere 20 feet away. The fire pit and picnic table are right out front of the cabin for your enjoyment.

This new Rivers Edge Cabin 2 will be the same as #7 and is the closest cabin to the river … but now has provision for you to sit on the deck in any kind of weather and enjoy the ever changing view of the river. You can watch the river rafters from the comfort of your deck as they make their way down the Nahatlatch. Rivers Edge Cabin 2 has 2 bedrooms each with double beds and a futon in the living area and sleeps 6 guests. There is a large propane stove and a fridge as well as propane lighting. The cabin is wired for electricity so all you need to bring, if you choose, is your own generator (NOT PROVIDED BY RIVERS EDGE) and you can light up the cabin. Please note there are no electrical appliance of any sort provided.

Sleeps 4
Sleeping up to 4 people, this secluded cabin is equipped with a double futon in the living area and a double bed in a separate bedroom. With a 24 inch propane stove and propane fridge, this 12 x 18 cabin is warm and inviting. It features a bench table inside the cabin overlooking the river and the fire pit and picnic table outside has a large sitting area. As close to nature as you can get yet comfy and cozy.

This is the largest cabin (sleeps 8) with plenty of room for family and friends and with the usual space for tenting. The layout is much the same as Cabin #6 & #7 and there is a large propane stove and a fridge as well as propane lighting, which is sufficient for all of your needs. The living area is 17x20 with a wood burning stove for your comfort and has 2 bedrooms, each with queen size beds and two futons in the living area. The covered deck is 8x20 so you will have lots of room to enjoy on rainy days or for staying out of the summer sun. There is a fire pit and picnic table down by the river. The cabin is also wired for electricity but would require your own generator (NOT PROVIDED BY RIVERS EDGE) and you can then light up the cabin using the electrical. Please note there are no electrical appliances of any sort provided and electricity is NOT REQUIRED to enjoy this cabin.

Sleeps 7
Cabin 6 has 2 bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other has single/double bunk. The cabin is 16 x 24 and has a double futon great for an afternoon nap. Cabin 6 is equipped with a 24 inch propane stove and a large propane fridge. There is a covered porch which is an added plus on those occasional rainy but warm summer nights. There is a picnic and fire pit area by the house and also another down by the river.

Sleeps 7
Cabin 7 along the way is similar to Cabin #6 and as such also has a covered porch to keep the summer sun at bay. The cabin is located on a bench so you are looking down at the river as well as the picnic area and fire pit. There are 2 bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other single/double bunk. The cabin is 16 x 20 feet and has a double futon as well as a 30 inch propane stove and a large propane fridge.
Things you need to bring
Please bring your lawn chairs for around the fire.
Bring your DRINKING WATER.
You will need sleeping bags and pillows.
A portable propane Barbeque for cooking outside.
BBQ lighter is a must.
A lamp for outside and a flash light.
Pans for the outside fire if wanting to cook on the fire.
Hot dog sticks for the fire.
